At Cedarview Group Homes, we are a dedicated team of trauma-informed Developmental Support Workers, Case Managers, Social Workers, Behavioral Specialists, committed to empowering children and youth with complex needs to live fulfilling lives.
We create safe, structured home environments for children and adolescents facing challenges such as autism, developmental disabilities, reactive trauma and mental health disorders. Our homes offer stability, emotional support and skill building opportunities in a secure, inclusive setting.
In support of our residents’ care plans, we collaborate closely with a wide network of licensed professionals, including:

This collaboration ensures each child receives wraparound care that addresses their physical, mental and developmental needs holistically.
Our services include strict adherence to individualized dietary plans (especially for allergies or sensitivities), active participation in multicultural meal planning and reliable transportation for medical appointments, educational needs and community engagement.

Meet the Founder
Muchaneta Chikonyora
Muchaneta holds a Bachelor of Health Studies (York University) and a Post Degree Certificate in Behavioural Science Technology, specializing in Autism and ABA. She is an experienced advocate for youth with complex needs and a leader in trauma informed, evidence based residential care.
